This game has many of the same aspects of medevil warfare

Soldiers/footman = warriors, Dervish

Archers = rangers

Monks = Suport

Spearmen/leaders = Paragon

Siege Weaponry = Elementalist

etc

We dont have mounted units





SO Where is the Calvary?


Knights, and such

Knights would have inherent +25% speed buff, take +15% damage from spears, but do +15% Damage to melee units. I dont know this is probably a bad idea but thats the basic thought I had anyway.

One thing I notice when playing GW is that there are no Horses. There are Pack animals, evil dwarfs riding on beast and drakes, ships, Centaur, and turtle cannon, but no Horse.

Still waiting for a Magical Poney Pet.....

Mounted units is not a bad idea, just the idea of basing it off of what other games are doing. Anet has done a pretty good job of keeping the game somewhat unique. That said, having the ability to ride pets into battle would be cool, giving maybe inate abilities like higher AC, or more Eng for casters, or faster run speed. I think it would be cool, and cool looking. Pets could be the Ranger class pets, or just something you could use a purchased Pet Cap Sig to get them with, and they would be a similar setup as ranger pets, meaning there are only certan ones you can cap for riding. Ok, so I didn't really follow the now class idea, more so just built on the pets idea.

I don't think so

It would be alittle unfair to the people that have a high level character then they came out with a mounted profession.

Or if they came out with a mounted profession, maybe some people would want to have a mount but hate the way the profession works? But, how could you have it as a second profession? You can't it wouldn't work out too well.

yes there was some kings hire assassins to kill people they didn't like also the assassins was spies for the king to sneak in the enemy king castle and dig up some infomation so they can prepare to raid it.

Mounts are a cool idea, but GW is really a PvP based game even if you disagree. Anets idea is that players will do the PvE and then just play the PvP. I'm not sure how mounts would work in PvP because they would give teams an unfair speed advantage.
